You may plan on buying some shoes this weekend, but you can also make your piggy bank happy in the process.  I’ve rounded up some shoe shopping discounts that will put a smile on your face and keep your little piggy nice and full, metaphorically speaking.  Here’s what I found:

Piperlime is having their Sweet Deal Event that takes up to 30% off a selection of women’s shoes.  There are plenty of styles to choose from, but I noticed a good price on the FitFlop Walkstar in red, which is on sale for $28.50 with free shipping (regularly $50).  That’s practically in Cheap Chick territory (i.e. under $25).  The sale ends 5/30/10.

Old Navy has a selection of cheap flip flops for throwing on at the pool or beach (or anywhere else for that matter). Their classic flops are normally $3.50, but for a limited time you can get 2 pairs for $4 or choose from select colors that are $1.49 a pair.  There are also additional styles listed on this page that are 2 for $5.  If you plan to spend at least $75 on your order, get 15% off and free shipping with coupon code ONCAMP15 until 5/23/10.  There’s also a similar deal at American Eagle.  Buy any pair of shorts and get a select pair of flip flops for $1 for a limited time.

6pm is having their latest round of brand-specific shoe sales, including MIA shoes for up to 65% off, I like the cute fringe MIA Hannah pump, which is marked down to $24.68 (MSRP $73).  The sale expires 5/23/10.

Famous Footwear takes an additional 20% off any order, even sale shoes, when you use coupon code USWEEKLY at checkout.  I noticed that their Skechers Tone-Ups, which are similar to the FitFlop, are discounted to a super-low price.  Originally $54.99, the Skechers Cali Tone-Ups are on sale for $29.99 and reduced even further to $23.99 after applying the code.  The coupon expires 5/31/10.

Shoesteal always has great discounts on shoes and you can get an even better price when you apply coupon code SUNSTEAL for another 15% off.  I noticed some heavily discounted L.A.M.B. shoes, like the L.A.M.B. Gypsy for $142.80 (originally $356.99).  After the code, get them for $121.38.  Sizes are limited for most styles, but you can check out all of their L.A.M.B. shoes and choose your size at the top to narrow it down to what’s available for you. The coupon expires 6/30/10.

If I had to pick one shoe that’s perfect for Valentine’s Day this year, I’d have to vote for the Harajuku Lovers Dalle.  The red hue and girly bows on this platform pump show that you’re all in this Valentine’s Day, but the super-high heel and edgy appeal keep it from being too overly sweet.  Whether you are going out for a romantic evening or hitting the town with friends, you’ll definitely be feeling the love in this shoe.  Luckily, this is Gwen Stefani’s lower priced line of shoes (compared to L.A.M.B. at least) and you can get this style for $99 at Endless with free overnight shipping, leaving plenty of time to get it by V-day.

Shoe Steal, which is a clearance site for Shoes.com, is having a one-day sale today that takes up to 80% off sitewide.  In addition, you can get an additional 15% off sale prices when you apply coupon code FALLSTEAL09 (exp. 10/31/09).  There are a ton of shoes you can choose from, but I noticed several pairs of Betsey Johnson shoes under $100 and the price only gets better once you apply the 15% off coupon code.  I also noticed the gorgeous L.A.M.B. Signature Collection Rosebury boot (pictured) for $364.99.  It drops to $310.24 after coupon (original price $522).  The boot is also available at Heels.com for $349.99, but it looks like it’s sold out everywhere else.  Shipping adds $5 for one pair and $1 for each additional pair.  Expiration: 10/14/09.

I’m generally not a huge fan of celebrity shoe lines.  I don’t blame celebs for wanting to start a shoe line (hey, I’d do it too!) and I’m not really all that concerned about how much actual time and work they put in it (doesn’t matter really), but celebrity shoes must be unique and different enough from everything else out there for me to want to buy.  In other words, I won’t choose their shoes over an established designer just because their name is slapped on it. L.A.M.B. shoes, on the other hand, are definitely an exception for me because the shoes Gwen Stefani puts out there are hot.  Expensive, but hot.  So, I get a little giddy when I see them on sale.  Luckily, Amazon is having a sandal blowout sale right now, which puts some of Gwen’s styles at much more affordable prices.  Here are some of the LAMB shoes on sale right now:

The LAMB Fabienne is one of my personal favorites.  It’s just so feminine and pretty and I particularly like the ivory/tan combo, but there’s only a few sizes left.  No wonder, because this gorgeous pair is marked down from its $354.95 list price to $113.58 with free shipping.  If you don’t see your size, try the black or cognac versions, which are the same price.

Sparkly, sexy, a bit naughty - I’m loving the LAMB Tab sandal.  Although they are sandals, I’m sure these would transition well for things like upcoming holiday parties (yes, the holidays will be here before we know it).  This pair comes in red or black and it’s now $102.70 with free shipping, reduced from its $320.95 list price.  Most sizes are still available.
