American Idol contestant Lauren Alaina wowed the audience this week with her rendition of the Elton John song “Candle In The Wind”, securing her a spot in next week’s Top 9.  Besides having an amazing voice, Lauren also has a really fun sense of style on the show and, if you watched her singing a duet with fellow Idol hopeful Scotty McCreery during the Top 11 Part 2 results episode, you may have taken note of her cute shoes (pictured above from 3/31/11).  She wore a platform wedge with a cutout along the bottom of the heel and a flower embellishment along the side of the ankle strap.  I recognized them as this pair:

I had a request from Meagan on Facebook to help find the shoes she spotted on the WE show My Fair Wedding with David Tutera.  The shoes she loved were worn by Kimberly Read, a young breast cancer survivor whose wish for her wedding was to have a 1950’s Havana theme with plenty of pink to incorporate breast cancer awareness into the day.  While she didn’t have many of the details ironed out initially, David took the reigns and created an spectacular wedding day for her.  One detail she did have down pat were her shoes, which David absolutely loved.  Even though he wanted to change her original wedding gown choice to something with more flair, he felt these shoes fit well with the 50’s Cuba vibe they were going for.  These are the shoes:
