Attention JC Tick fans! The Jeffrey Campbell Tick in tribal print, one of the many reincarnations of the popular style, is is back for round 2 at Karmaloop. The tribal version is exclusive to Karmaloop, so you won’t find it anywhere else, and it sold out really quickly the first time they offered it. They also have the Jeffrey Campbell Tick in black in stock again and both are priced at $150. Of course, you’ll want to use a Karmaloop coupon to discount your purchase and code CLINTON will take 20% off, making either pair $120. I’m not sure when the code expires, but I tested it and it works right now.
Update: It’s sold out at Karmaloop, but Eilatan also offers the Jeffrey Campbell Tick in tribal for $142.79. Apparently, it’s not exclusive to Karmaloop any longer. Singer22 also offers it for $264.
Now the question is: Will the Jeffrey Campbell Giggle Tic, the gladiator boot version that sold out even quicker, make a comeback as well? I’m thinking so. Update 7/8: It’s back in stock at Karmaloop.

Update2: Ooh, just found two more colors of the Tick that I didn’t know about at Eilatan.com, the Jeffrey Campbell Tick in bronze or pewter. Both are priced at $142.79, marked down from $167.99. Sweet! Also, Solestruck has the black Tick and the white Tick back in stock.

Update 3: The Jeffrey Campbell Tick in black and white zebra is now available at Solestruck for $179.95 (sold out).
Update 4: The Tribal Tick is back at Karmaloop.

Lord & Taylor is having a Friends & Family sale that takes 25% off most items sitewide, including their selection of women’s shoes, when you apply coupon code FRIENDS at checkout. There’s no shortage of cute shoes to pick from, especially since the discount applies to both regularly-priced and sale shoes, but a few brand exclusions apply. One of my favorites is a quite a splurge, but it’s gorgeous and so spring-ready, so I can’t help but love it. It’s the Nanette Lepore Secret Love (pictured above) and it’s $355, but it drops to $266.25 after code. Here are a few more of my picks from this sale:

B. Makowsky Anne in black or gold for $139 before code and $104.25 after (limited sizes).

Michael Michael Kors Juniper in brown or black for $150 before code and $112.50 after.

Nina Calinda braided wedge in gold or silver for $79 before coupon and $59.25 after.

Betsey Johnson Calandra in black or black/white for $150 before coupon and $112.50 after.

Born Cornflower in yellow, black or white for $95 before coupon and $71.25 after.

Nine West Consuela in pink or black for $89 before coupon and $66.75 after.

Sam Edelman Zoe in black for $350 before coupon and $262.50 after.

AK Anne Klein Marcella zipper flat in black for $59.99 before coupon and $44.99 after.
Shipping is free if you spend $150 or more. The coupon expires 4/25/10.

Siobhan Magnus is definitely one of the most unique and talented contestants on American Idol this year and, although Crystal is my current fave, I think Siobhan is fun to watch. Even if her performances don’t always hit the mark for me, she certainly knows how to stand out. In addition to her singing (and infamous “screaming”), she also distinguishes herself from the crowd through fashion. Siobhan’s style on the show is quirky and eclectic - she definitely has an 80’s vibe going on and it’s mixed up with a little urban edge (she wore Missy Elliot boots on a previous show) and a bit of geek-chic with her Molly Ringwald-esque glasses and hair. This past week, during the Elvis show, I definitely took notice of her super-strappy white wedge shoes (pictured above) and I had set out to find them. My first thought was Jeffrey Campbell, but I couldn’t locate the exact pair. However, I did find one that is very similar:

It’s called the Jeffrey Campbell Polish and it’s on sale for $119.95 (originally $169.95) at Solestruck. I’m not sure if this shoe was ever made in white and I noticed Siobhan’s pair had rhinestones (or something similarly shiny) across a few of the straps, so it could be a totally different shoe. Then again, it could be a version of the Polish that will be available for sale in the future. After all, you never know what kind of pre-sale hookups the American Idol stylists have, but we’ll have to wait and see.
In the meantime, here are some more lookalikes for Siobhan’s shoes:

Aldo Gutenson in gray or black for $100 at Aldo.com. Coupon code 142434083 takes 10% off (expiration unknown) and shipping is $5 or free if you spend over $100.

Steven Reana in taupe or black for $129.95 at Steve Madden. Use coupon code SMFREESHIP for free shipping.

Jeffrey Campbell The Ember for $118 at Karmaloop. Coupon code CLINTON takes 20% off (expiration unknown).

Aldo Blandon in taupe or black for $100 at Aldo. Coupon code 142434083 takes 10% off (expiration unknown) and shipping is $5 or free if you spend over $100.
On a related note, you can read more about the American Idol women’s stylist, Soyon An - and how she works with a $400 per contestant per week budget - over at StyleList. Soyon often finds items from affordable stores like Aldo, Bebe and Forever 21 for the outfits you see on the show.
Update: I found out in the American Idol style section that the pair Siobhan wore on the show was originally black, but it was customized to white with a lightning bolt to complete her look, so it appears the shoe may have been the Polish after all!

I had to share one of my latest shoe purchases, the Naughty Monkey Fiesta in black, today for a couple reasons. First, I am so loving this shoe, especially the little mini studs all over the heel and across the top. I also really like how the platform has a snakeskin print, a detail that adds interest without distracting from the overall look. They’re the kind of pair you can dress up or down, which is also nice. I can’t say they’re the most comfortable heel ever, especially compared to another Naughty Monkey pair I have (which is one of the most comfy high heels I’ve ever put on), but I haven’t really worn them enough to break them in. Plus, they aren’t too bad for a hot pair of heels, which we don’t wear for total comfort anyway, and I wouldn’t shy away from wearing them unless some heavy-duty walking was involved. I’d also say this particular style runs just a bit small and I probably should’ve gone up half a size, but it wasn’t enough of an issue for me to return them.

So, besides wanting to show off my new shoes a bit, I also noticed that this pair is starting to get marked down at a few places. I happened to get a great deal at Shoemall during a time that they offered a 30% off $50 coupon, so I paid about $55. They don’t have that coupon right now, but you can get 15% off this pair in black or purple with coupon code PRCNT15, which drops them to $67.96 with free shipping. However, Piperlime also offers them in dark brown or purple and they are now marked down to $59.99 with free shipping, which is even better. Then, the price gets even better for the dark brown pair over at 6pm, where it’s currently $47.99 with $6.95 shipping. Of course, there’s also the yellow Fiesta, which I haven’t seen on sale yet. You can get it at Endless for $80.95 with free 2-day shipping.

I ran across the Chinese Laundry Sassyfras at LuLus today and thought it was adorable, plus it’s offered in a neutral shade that makes it infinitely wearable. Besides the versatile color, I like that it’s a fairly simple shoe, but the extra details - such as the all-over circle cutouts and oversized buckle - really up the style factor. I’m all about sites like LuLus that show their shoes being worn rather than just the shoe itself because you can’t really tell how cute this pair is otherwise. However, LuLus only has two sizes left, so they are almost sold out (they have them for $85). For additional size and color options, see Shoemall. They offer luggage or black for $89.95 and coupon code PRCNT15 takes 15% off, making them $76.46 with free shipping. There’s also a snappy red version, which you can find at Zappos for $89 with free shipping.
Update: After writing up this post, I realized that the Chinese Laundry website has this pair in all three color options for $89 and coupon code DIVASQUARE takes 20% off. That makes them $71.20. Shipping is also free through 4/16/10.

My love affair with lace heels, most recently expressed in my post about the Betsey Johnson Alison corset bootie, continues with the Charles by Charles David Ladylike. It comes in black or champagne/black and I think I’m liking the champagne version slightly better because the color contrast makes the lace stand out more; however, you can’t deny the draw of solid black. While the Alison is more dramatic, I have to admit that these would likely be more versatile and the price is more affordable too. The best deal I’ve found is for the black version at Overstock, where they are $54.99 with $2.95 shipping. There’s only a few sizes left, so another option is 6pm, where both the champagne and black versions are available for $62.50 (MSRP $125). Shipping adds $6.95. As an added bonus, this shoe applies the feminine, romantic shoe trend we’ve been hearing about for spring.

I’ve been seeing plenty of really good shoe sales going on, so I had to round them up for those of you who may be shoe shopping this weekend. If you’re craving a hot new pair of shoes, but need them to be light on the wallet too, check these stores out:
 $5
 $5
I have to start with Sears because they have some unbelievably low prices on their shoes right now. Sears may not be first place we think of when buying shoes, but they do offer some well-known brands and - wow - these prices are insane. They are taking an extra 50% off women’s clearance boots and when you look at the shoes, you’d think many of them are already marked down, but you actually get the extra discount at checkout. Boots aren’t typically on the brain this time of year, but when they start at $2.50 after discount you can’t go wrong. For example, the MIA Amore McBeavy moto boot (pictured above, at left) or the Laundry List Trishelle (pictured above, at right) are just $5 each. Plus, there are plenty of other boots to choose from, many of which are under $25 before discount and $12.50 or less after. Besides boots, Sears is also taking 30% off clearance shoes at checkout, including athletic shoes from brands like New Balance, Skechers and Adidas. The sale ends 4/17/10.

American Eagle is once again taking an extra 30% off clearance items, including clearance shoes. They don’t have free shipping this time around, at least not right now, but you can still get cute flats and sandals for very low prices. I like the AE Leopard Sandal (pictured above left), which is a new arrival to the clearance section and is priced at $24.99 before discount and $17.47 after (originally $29.50). We also had a commenter in my previous American Eagle sale post that said she was liking the AE Soft Ballet Flat in light blue (pictured above right). It’s a great color and available for only $13.97 after discount (originally $29.50), although sizes are getting a bit limited. The sale ends 4/20/10.

Nine West is having their Friends and Family Sale, which always means a sweet discount. Get 30% off regularly-priced items by applying coupon code NWFRND4 at checkout and shipping is discounted to $5. I’m loving the sandal featured on their homepage, the super-sexy Nine West Consuela for $89. It’s available in 4 colors and you can get it for $62.30 after discount. The sale ends 4/12/10.

Macy’s is having a Great Shoe Sale, which is a buy more, save more sale that takes 15% off 1 pair of shoes, 20% off 2 and 30% off 3. Many sale items are also included, which is extra-nice since there isn’t a purchase minimum to get these discounts. Gear up your spring and summer wardrobe with the shoes pictured above, (from left) the Chinese Laundry Block Party for $49, the Marc Fisher Sal for $89 and the Enzo Angiolini Fiama for $89. You can get 15% off any one of these or 20% off any two, but the real savings come in when you buy all 3 for $158.90 rather than $227, which is $68 off (and kind of like getting a free pair). Shipping is free on $75 or more with coupon code FIRSTSTEP until 4/17/10. Sale expiration is unknown.

6pm has some weekend brand-specific super sales going on. Get up to 65% off Steve Madden, up to 65% off HUGO Hugo Boss shoes, up to 65% off Cole Haan boots, up to 75% off Enzo Angiolini and more. These sales end 4/11/10.

Shoe Woo, a new site that sells Jones Apparel brand shoes such as Nine West, Anne Klein, Enzo Angiolini and licensed brand Rachel Roy, takes 30% off any regularly-priced order at checkout during their first Friends and Family sale. One of my faves, the Boutique 9 Val, is reduced from $199 to $139.30 with $5 shipping. It’s expected to ship 5/11, but it also shows as being on backorder, so it’s possible there’s some additional delay. The sale ends 4/12/10.
That’s all for now, but I’ll add more sales over the weekend if I see them. Have a great one!
